Let’s cut straight to the chase. I’m giving away 5 FREE tickets to Cosmo’s FunFearlessLife conference!
If you’re not already familiar with it, Cosmo magazine has assembled some of the country’s most powerful, successful women (and a few dudes like myself!) to convene at Lincoln Center for two amazing days of speeches, panels and networking opportunities. You can check out the conference at the link below, but if you click away, make sure you come back for the giveaway!
So why the giveaway?
Over the weekend I was thinking about all of the things that have impacted my life and taking a little time to feel grateful for them. Yes, I’ve worked my butt off for everything that I have, but none of it would have come without the hard work and generosity of individuals who helped me in one way or another over the years.
And that got me thinking about the power of giving. We all have SOMETHING to give and imho giving to others is the single greatest thing you can do with your life. It trumps everything.
Whether it’s time, money, resources or a combination of all three, each of us has something unique that when drawn upon and shared with even one single individual has the capacity to change that person’s life.
That’s when the idea of giving away the tickets dawned on me.
I need to make sure we’re perfectly clear on something first. This is truly a gift. There are no strings attached. In fact, Cosmo didn’t even know I was doing this until I Tweeted about it over the weekend.
Gifts are funny things. I’ve found that, quite often, our cynicism clouds our ability to enjoy them, particularly when they come from a stranger. We’re looking for the strings, fine print or some angle.
There’s none of that. Promise!
So now that we’re clear on that, I want you to think of this as a hell of a lot more than just a gift.
I want you to think of it as an OPPORTUNITY.
I’m speaking at this conference for one reason: I truly believe it has the potential to help you live a great life.
When the organizers explained their vision to me, I fell in love with their sincere desire to help people live what they call “fun, fearless, lives.”
We’re often held back by fear, doubt, insecurities. The women (and few dudes) at FFF are going to share their stories of struggle and victory. They’ll give you strategies that you can put to work in your life, immediately.
You’ll be inspired and motivated to get your shit together and take the action you need to take to get the life you want. Not the life you’ve been told you COULD live, but the life you were truly BORN to live. A GREAT one!
I’ve said it before and will say it again: a single conversation can change the entire trajectory of your life. It’s fully possible that, at this conference, you’ll have several of them.
Look at the lineup. Sara Blakely is going to be there. The woman created Spanx for God’s sake! Two years ago the company was valued at $1billion. Think you could learn a thing or two from her? I know I could.
There are also panels and networking opportunities. That means you may very well have a conversation with someone like my friend Michelle Mulligan, Editor-in-Chief of Cosmo for Latinas. That conversation could lead to a career. That’s you, all fancy, walking into the Hearst building like a mother fu*king boss! Sound pie-in-the-sky? It’s not.
It’s an amazing thing they’ve put together and I couldn’t be more excited to share the stage with all of these strong, powerful women. And it’s at Lincoln Center. Call me a dork, but there’s something about Lincoln Center during the holidays that makes me giddy.
Alright, alright… enough blabbing. You want to know about the giveaway!
GIVEAWAY INSTRUCTIONS:
Like I said, there are no strings attached. But I do need to know you’ve got some skin in this game and that you’re committed to taking what you learn and putting it to use.
This is simple. 2 steps:
1. Write me a short letter explaining why you want to attend FunFearlessLife
2. Email it to hello@adamrosante.com
That’s it!
It doesn’t need to be a long piece of Pulitzer Prize-winning literature. Just make it heartfelt and sincere. Tell me about your personal goals and how you plan to help others along your journey.
I’ll contact the winners on Wednesday or mayyyybe Thursday.
Again, don’t be intimidated if you haven’t written something like this before. You’re not being judged on how well you craft a paragraph. I just want to make sure that the tickets are going to a person who will make the most of the opportunity which is why this isn’t some contest like “post a photo on Facebook of you doing push-ups and you could win!”
Just two steps: 1. write a letter 2. email it to hello@adamrosante.com
Cool? Cool!
Good luck and have an amazing day!
Xo,
A
